Gas Angel saw its sales more than double after the rebrand project and new website launch.

Unwritten was approached by Gas Angel to update the heating company’s brand identity, extending the refresh to a host of marketing collateral including a website, which drove huge increases in sales.



The Organisation
Newcastle-based, family-run heating company, Gas Angel Heating is a next generation boiler installation company that provides the instant services that every smart home needs, from on the spot quotes to speedy installs. Gas Angel’s CSR work dedicates resources to planting trees to offset boiler CO2 emissions.

The Objective
Unwritten was commissioned to rebrand Gas Angel to support the launch of its new boiler and central heating cover plans. The project had to demonstrate Gas Angel’s competitive edge over other market players. To ensure the brand refresh resonated with Gas Angel’s audience, we developed buyer personas in collaboration with the internal team.

The Outcome
The vibrant, cheerful new brand and logo emphasised Gas Angel’s position as a friendly and trusted boiler expert. Under the new brand guidelines, Unwritten developed a series of marketing materials including social media assets, advertisements, business cards and uniforms. We designed and built a bespoke website that was launched with huge success, resulting in a 121% sales increase in the year following the launch.
